Not that Killdozer

Killdozer! (1974) was a sci-fi TV movie about an alien-possessed bulldozer, based on a 1944 Theodore Sturgeon story. Killdozer was also a Wisconsin noise-rock band. Neither has anything to do with Granby. They're just where the nickname came from.

WhistlinDiesel Builds a Killdozer

Cody Detwiler, better known as WhistlinDiesel, spent about 9–10 months building a full-scale replica based on a Komatsu D355A. The finished machine has roughly ¾-inch steel plate with a concrete fill, a camera system in place of windows, and a remote kill switch. It weighs about 155,000 lb and cost around $200k. He uses it to crush vehicles on private property for his videos. Dexerto and Sky-Hi News, Granby's local paper, both covered the reveal.
